I am getting frustrated, gents! If I put just a touch of hornady lube on the inner neck, or wipe the inside with lee lube on a q-tip, I still often end up with media stuck there after tumbling!?! This is 308/30-06.

I don't like shooting that trash down the barrel ... And I don't think I can put on less lube without it sticking on the expander. ANd of course I don't want to wipe out each neck individually, either!

Should I just tumble for a couple more hrs? Tried rinsing in hot soapy water, but then it takes forever to dry in swampy florida! Try the sprays again, that barely work on the neck?

Any better ways?

Try Imperial Dry Neck Lube or just plain powdered graphite appied with a Q tip and don't worry about removing it.

hps

I use some moly powder in a plastic jar with BBs, punch the casemouth in, twist, lubed in and out... which makes a good indicator for how far down your neck sizing goes:D Midway mica & graphite are alternatives...:p

Dave ,
I use Hornady one shot with my 3006 loading . I tumble them for about thirty minutes and they are ready to go . Using ground cobs not walnut shells.

Try Midway, widener's or any of the other big online stores. Id in doubt about whether it will fit your dies, call or E-mail the manufacturer.

Another excellent source of both equipment and information is Sinclair.
