I'm two hours to the west. I drive to Tahoe/Reno for the guns shows and skiing all the time.

I'm in Sacramento-I'd carpool in (and load up on ammo for the trip back ;) ).

Should have caught me last week when I was in Reno for the Custom Gun Makers' Guild. Now I'm back in Kalifornistan.

    Gunsmith,

    I'm only ~8 hrs northwest.

    I really appreciate
    that part of this continent.

They 'burn men' just ne of Reno.
    <wink wink>
(Don't worry, or take that literally.
Burning Man is the name of a large outdoor art festival.)

    Deserts rule,
if you've got food, water & guns.

OK Great!! now lets plan a shoot n picnic!

Also there is a crossroads of the west gunshow coming up soon.
    I think it's the 4th and 5th of Feb.
If not the big Reno gun show is in April (or something)
should be a little warmer by then.
Or instead of burning man we could have a little "shooting man" near Gerlach, a friend and gunnie has a spread up in Gerlach (as the crow flies)
and there is a bunch of BLM land for camping...come to think about it a friend of a friend is a class three guy with a bunch of firearms, if we had the ammo he probably can make the time (that would take more planning though)

    Welcome to THR, Vic.

Please be sure to read the forum rules. (See link above.)

    Shotgun? Depends on
what you want said SG for.

    For SD/HD,
    Remington 870P.

It's one of the best in the world.

    YMMV.
