I would appreciate feedback on trying to get this right the first time...hate returns... 
I'm looking to replace the factory S&W rear sights with Millett. According to the Millett website, it looks like I need a .312 rear blade (5" 625-5, .45 LC). I got a different answer from a tech at a parts company (.360), so I then called Millett (.312 per website) and then called the parts company back (another tech, .312).
I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the Millett measurements translate to the measurement of the existing S&W rear sight? From the base of the sight body to the top of the blade measures around .370 -- but I'm cautious about concluding that the Millett measurements are done the same way. Any thoughts?
