I've got 4 older HiPower mags from when I had my first HiPower back in the '90's. I used them for the first time in many, many years after I picked up my new SA-35 HiPower... and had some failure to feeds with the last round in 2 of the 4 magazines. I checked MagGuts and they don't make a replacement set for the HiPower. Does anyone know of a good source for an aftermarket spring? ...or do I just stick with standard replacement parts?

I use a lot of Wolff springs for my HPs just as Rule has posted above. I keep full sets of the Recoil Recalibration packs on hand. Years ago, they were one of the first to carry the MecGar 15 and 17 round mags which is where I was introduced to them. It's all I use for my HPs. I'm sold on MecGar. I've not had to respring a mag yet.

Everyone seems to love the MecGars. I don't recall where I got these from... it was over 25 years ago. 2 have Made in Italy stamped on them, 2 are completely blank. I thought I would have just bought all 8 from the same source, but obviously not. I have 5 mags for it, including the SA one that came with it.... I don't really want to buy any more.

Got my order in to Wolff. I forgot... Wolff doesn't have springs for the Kahr CW9's, I have to order those from Kahr.

MecGar is the OEM for many many brands of guns.

Note the warning on GunSprings (Wolff)

Note: Springs may require fitting in magazines with magazine ejector.
Note: Will not fit Mec-Gar 15 or 17 round magazines for Hi Power pattern pistols.

Unfortunately MecGar doesn't offer parts, only completer mags. As noted, springs for the High Power are not hard to find. Beretta baseplates will work. I've installed several Beretta poylmer baseplates on High Power mags. Followers? You're on your own.

Well... I guess I'll find out if any of mine are MecGars... or not! :)
