I have several boxes of frangible .223 cartridges I bought during the panic. I'm just starting to reload and was wondering if I could buy replacement bullets of the same weight and pull and replace the frangible ones?

Good point! Frang is ok for targets. For hunting rounds, I would need to replace powder...

A frangible bullet is good for varmints. Not really a lot of difference between them and a varmint bullet. A lot depends on what you're hunting.
You really don't need to replace the powder if you use the same bullet weight. Pulling bullets is a tedious thing to do. Lot easier(and more fun) to pull 'em with a rifle.

The most efficient thing would be to pull them using your rifle, then re-load the brass.

Nothing beats trigger time! Then you can try several bullets to find "the one" that suits your needs!
Thats the fun of reloading!

Pulling the bullets and replacing them will require the necks to be resized to get proper tension anyway. I feel that if the round is already made and usable in your firearm then shoot them. If they were cheapie FMJ and I needed hunting rounds that were not available at the moment then maybe I would invest the time but otherwise no way. I would concentrate on reloading my OF brass instead. FYI I have had frangable bullets come apart when pulled with a collet puller.
