Reply from Brady Poll: Reading is Fundamental

Here is the reply I recieved after responding to a Brady "Gun Control: It's for the children" poll. Apparently, they don't have anyone reading the results prior to sending an email.

Perhaps you did not take the time to read my survey responses.

I am a Military Law Enforcement officer, and a decorated veteran. As such, I do NOT support any infringement of my constitutional rights. Quite the contrary.

I took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution. That includes the Bill of Rights.

ALL OF THEM.

I strongly suggest you reconsider your views on constitutional rights. Depriving another of their civil rights is a crime.
Conspiracy to commit a crime, even a misdemeanor, is a felony.

No one at Handgun Control Inc. reads the survey entires, the reply is sent by an automated robot, and responses to that spam will also go unread.

Furthermore, you know'll they spin the results of their survey to their own ends.

Why play when you know the game is rigged?

I did not send them anything back. I was afraid they might take me off the list and I would not have any visibility on their plans.

Every statement on that poll is a flat out lie, and the Brady Campaign knows it. They have no intention of paying any attention to the results of the poll. Anyone who reads the poll reads their fake statements, and many people won't know the real facts. The whole thing is nothing more than propaganda.

I put strongly disagree to each question.

It IS good to respond to those polls. There was an anti-gun poll a couple weeks ago in Canada, and they have section of the CGN forum just for polls. They don't hotlink to them, so the pollsters can't see all the voters coming from one site. We got a gun control poll to read 70% against, and that statistic was then read on the news stations.

Just another front in the fight.

With such an unscrupulous organization as Handgun Control Inc, you can almost guarantee that the "results" from the poll - much like the questions - will be outright lies.

Ninety percent of the total poll results all voted "strongly degree"? No problem! They'll just make something up that's more favorable to their position, and nobody will be the wiser: it's only a couple quick MySQL alter/update commands, carried out by a single person with administrative privileges on their web/database server.
