I am in the process of reloading a number of 7.5 MAS cartridges. I am using a single stage Lee press. The brass is a combination of FNM/Prvi Partisan (from the same plant I am told) and Graff an Sons. These cases have been fired between 1-3 times. I am using Lee case reszing lube.

When resizing I have noticed a fair amount of resistance when resizing some cases and very little when resizing others. Is this unusual? What might account for this?

Depending upon the chamber diameters they were shot from, I'd say it's normal. Be sure that you are putting the majority of the lube on the bottom third of the case. Also, instead of using a brush on the case neck, just wipe the residule lube from your fingers over one of the inside edges of the case neck. Doing this on a few makes sure that the expander gets a good coat of lube too.

Some brass may be softer than others......

I can tell when I am resizing Remington brass just by the way it feels. Even though the brass came from the same source, it can be made on a different machine and that is what you are feeling when you resize.......chris3
