I bought a hundred rounds of what I thought was JHP from the gun counter in Wal-Mart tonight. The clerk told me it was JHP and shoved it in the bag and I bought it as I have dozens of times. Before anyone says you should have looked, yes you're right, won't happen ever again, but that's not what this thread is about.

Anyways, I looked in the bag a few minutes later, I never got out of sight of the register and said you sold me the wrong ammo. To which I was directed to the front of the store to speak to the manager because they don't do returns of ammo (THIS FROM THE GUY WHO SCREWED UP AND PUT IT IN THE BAG :cuss:). I get to the manager who refuses to refund the purchase and looks me dead in the face and says that it's a Federal law that he can't accept returned ammo. To which I said not true, fine if its your store policy but don't make stuff up. Then he says well maybe it's a state law, again I said not true don't make stuff up.

So that's my question...

Is their a Federal statute or even a State Statute in Florida covering returned ammunition? I have never heard of any such law or regulation....?

No.

There is another thread in the general discussion forum about returning ammo. It is a policy.
