ok i have done some homework and i believe my western auto revelation model r310abr is...

R310 - MOSSBERG 500
A - 12 GAUGE
B - SOLD UNDER A GENERIC NAME
R - DELUXE MODEL

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.... THANKS..

WHAT IM ASKING IS WHAT BARRELS WILL FIT THIS GUN... I WANT TO PUT A SHORTER BARREL AND MAYBE A SCOPE ON IT.. IT HAS A VENT RIBBED FIXED FULL 30 INCH BARREL ON IT .

WILL ANY MOSSBERG 500 BARREL WORK ?

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I have one, and yes, any 500 barel will fit.

Don't bother drilling/tapping for a scope, though. You can find side mounts for your gun on Ebay that mount to the ejector screw and replace the take down pin. The only shortfall is that you'll need to remove the takedown pin/screw each time you strip it to clean it.

Great thing about a Mossy....you can mount a scope to a cantilever barrel mount, a side mount, a clamshell mount, or a Weaver rail on top. It's about the easiest to scope gun there is.

awsome.. i didnt want to waste money trying it. without knowing.. so a scoped barrel from say .. cabela's would work without a problem.. that is great to know .. thanks guys..
