Hi everybody let me introduce myself: My name is Anibal (Hannibal) and I Mexican, and I have a question

Does anybody here have experience with the Kora Brno revolvers?
How good (or how bad) are they?

Lately these revolvers are for sale in Mexico, but anybody that I know has experience with them.

Forgive my bad English

I don't think they are imported to the US... I've never seen or heard of these guns before. Another Czech company, CZ has a very good reputation. I wonder if anybody on this forum knows more.

Hello Hannibal and welcome!
I will get flamed for this...;) Those are cheep revolvers with frames made from Zamac alloy (zink, aluminium, magnesium and copper). The company must not be mistaken with the old Zbrojovka Brno company. The .22LR version of this revolver is OK for general plinking, but the .38Spl version is better to be avoided - if you can afford a more expensive and quality revolver. But both revolvers do suffer sometimes from parts breakage (hammer, DA sear, springs) and with the .38Spl - frame cracking.
Look at the thread "Zink alloys" - it will answer your questions. Especially do read the post from Mr. Keenan.

Thanks both of you for your answers. I had always been concern about the alloy frame of those revolvers. Even if I thought they were aluminum alloy. Now I know thank of you they are zinc alloy, I’m going to avoid them like you advise me.

I`m going to read the alloy zinc thread carefully.

Hi Hannibal,
Mizar is right. Of those two revolver producers in Brno, Alfa-Proj makes the better ones. And Alfas are made of steel, too. Check with the importers in Mexico. They might be available there, too.

Shoot66, not all Alfa Proj revolvers are steel framed - they also produce zinc alloy versions - Holek. And Holeks and Kora Brnos do look suspiciously identical... ;)
