Bowen Customs

The top gun is a Model 58 with a Model 1955 barrel cut to 4" and a Model 27 cylinder chambered in 45 S&W. Doing load development work on the cartridge now but preliminary tests show the gun has a lot of potential. The grips are Spegel checkered extended boot grips in Makassar ebony.

The middle gun is a Model 58 with a Model 1955 barrel cut to 4" and the cylinder chambered in 45 Colt. It shoots my standard 45 Colt load very, very well. The grips are Spegel checkered extended boot grips in Cocobolo.

The bottom gun is a Model 520 with a Model 29 barrel cut to 4" and the cylinder chambered in 44 Special. The grips are Spegel checkered extended boot grips in Makassar ebony.

The ribs on all three barrels was milled and matted to match the original Model 58 barrel rib contour and the front sight profile was changed to improve the sight picture.

Here is my birthday present that my wife got me a few weeks ago. It is a Ruger Super Redhawk 7.5" barrel in 44 Mag. with Simmons 2-6x32mm scope. It is one hellva gun. I love it.

What I really want to see is a picture of a SwissMiniGun next to a Pfeifer Zeliska. You could probably store about a dozen of the former in little in crevices of the latter. (Note that I don't think either of these revolvers can be imported to the United States. We Americans have ideas about making revolvers human-sized; the Europeans are more open-minded and make revolvers for both pixies and ogres.

I finally found this grip works for controlling the 329PD.

Second photo, 329PD in full field dress with Mag-na-port, Crimson Trace Hog Hunter LaserGrips, home-made lanyard. Cylinder & Slide Extreme Duty rear sight and Big-Dot white outline front pending.

I wish S&W offered it with a six-inch barrel.

Inherited this from one of the men who taught me to hunt, in the Colorado Rockies in 1972. That's a Bone Knife (Lubbock TX) I found in the ocean off the coast of South Vietnam in 1970. Wish I hadn't sharpened it.

I drug that pair all over the Colorado Rockies and the Idaho Backcountry.
