Revolvers

A handful of the revolvers I have pictures of...

S&W Model 657 3" .41
Colt Detective Special 3rd Generation
S&W Model 686 4" .357

Here's my daily carry gun. At least while the weather is cold. It's a model 19-3 from about 1975. It was a gift from a friend who inherited it from their father who was a detective. I'm experimenting with grips, and am currently back with the factory wood grips. I think I'll add a Tyler-T and call it good.

Nice guns. I particularly like the 624 and the stocks made by your Dad.

Updated my model 66 (I know, it's missing the front sight insert!) with a Tyler T Grip.

I read all 33 pages to date and didn't see a Model 68 (unless the CHP Model 67 counts).

Here is the one I just got. It's a .38 Special in a 357 frame made for the LAPD. See stamping on right side of barrel. It is supposed to be unfired, and looks it. I got it with the box, cleaning stuff and papers.

My three!

Here's my three. From the top: S&W Mod. 65-6; S&W Mod. 19-5; Colt Peacekeeper.

And a second view of the Colt Peacekeeper. It's an unusual gun that was only made for three years by Colt.

Got a new (to me) Model 60-7 yesterday, brought my camera out and took pictures of my whole revolver "family"

01.jpg

None of that pesky "lock" business.

02.jpg

5 Shots of .38spl; I can shoot +p out of this

03.jpg

Other side

Rest of the revolver family, a S&W Mod 15-3, and a S&W Mod 36

Another shot, all without locks.
