For the really old revolver buffs out there here is my Webley RIC is .450CF caliber with 95% finish and mechanically as the day she was made circa 1872. This is the original 'snubby' with 2 1/2" barrel.

Hi vintagearmsnut,

Oh that is nice..!

I have a kindred one, also an original 'Snubby', a Webley as well, in .450 Adams...if I can dig it out, I will post an image of it to go along with yours.

I think it is a 'Bull Dog Model, dating to some time in the early 1880s. So, not quite so illustrious as yours, but, a charmer, no less.

They had some popularity here in the US in their day, of course.

i want to thank everyone for the wonderful pictures of their revolvers. i own a m-65
thats about it in older revolvers. every morning i turn my computer on and have to
take another look. i remember the days walking into a gun shop and having your
choice of smiths and colt. i miss those days. this brings back nice memories.

New offering from last year : A 3" 63 with standard HiViz and x8 .22 rimfire - with DS-10 Speedloader and sporting a set of 'Pro 60' grips. Also shown is my latest acquisition - not a month old - a 3" 60 Pro - with an HKS #36 x5 speedloader:

This thread could end up costing me some $$. I feel like a redheaded stepchild :cuss:

Colts

These are the only two revolvers that I own now, but definitely more to come. Both are great shooters. Nothing like a good revolver.

Colt Python (6" 1970's make) and Colt Pocket Positive (1930's make)

I just put these Hogues On my model 65. It was tight and functional when I got it last year, but it was scratched up some and had rubber grips. I polished it a little and put on the grips. I think my revolver is purty.
