Stainz,

Thanks , i have seen the Lobo leather site, very nice.
Going to the gun show today to see if anything is available.

I remember you directing me to the 5 star site some time ago, this helped me value the trays and loaders, thanks again.

Glad your crystal ball worked well with the Nagants.

My wife got me this for Christmas: S&W Classic Series Model 29 .44 Magnum, 6 1/2".

Found this for a nice price today at a gun show:

It's been a while since I posted pictures here. So I figured it was time:

This one was inspired by watching the first Indiana Jones movie. I don't know why, but the skull was handy, as was the bayonet.

Webley MK VI .45ACP (shaved cylinder) ca. 1918

Smith & Wesson Revolvers chambered in Auto Calibers:

This is the latest part of the collection I'm going for. I've since added a Ruger SP101 in 9MM to the collection, but no pictures exist for it yet.
From top to Bottom: S&W 1917, S&W 610, and S&W 940. These are my auto chambered revolvers. The 940 is the only one I see with any kind of practical applications. The rest are fun to shoot and serve as something neat that I simply wanted.

This is my newest BUG which replaces my 640. Ammo pictured here is the Hornady 115 Grain XTP JHP.

Tinyg, I had a bayonet like that, a Swiss saw edge, my brother and I bought it at a surplus store for about $2.00. Unfortunately it was stored wrong for many years and the blade broke just below the hilt. They're quite rare and fetch a fine price now, mine was bought in the early 60's.

I purchased mine at a gunshow recently for damn near the price of a used Mauser. I'd seen them in pictures, but never in person. I snatched it up and gladly paid for it. What's nice is that it attaches to the Swiss 1911 Carbine as well as the K-31:

I think this bayonet was the reason Switzerland wasn't invaded. Not only could the Swiss stab you across a mountain valley, they'd leave a cord of wood cut and ready for use next to the body. :D

Here's an oldie but not-so-goodie, the Japanese Type 26:

Here's one of the S&W Victory model I used to own:
I34610.jpg

Here's one of the only Colt that I own, a Police Positive in .32 S&W Long:
I33511.jpg

Here's one of a Belgian Nagant that I have. This one was made in 1898 and was probably meant for the Russian commercial market:
I32487.jpg

When I used to do Cowboy Action Shooting, I used a pair of 1895 Nagant Revolvers and used .32 S&W Long in them. Not the fastest revolvers by any means, but I'd finish in the upper part of the middle with them:
I31927.jpg

Here's a picture of the Top Break Revolvers I used to have. Top to Bottom: S&W Double Action 44 in .44 Russian, the Iver Johnson in .32 S&W, and the S&W Single Action 2nd Model in .32 S&W.

Celebrating simply the fact that it was a Saturday afternoon - and I got OTD with change from two bills - here is my latest bullseye candidate:

002-3.jpg

Yeah, I'm not much for bullseye shooting. Sweet DA trigger - compared to my 1895 Nagants. Actually in decent shape - it's a .32 H&RM NEF R73. My 94-96gr LRNFP over 1.9gr Titegroup in .32 S&WL cases hits close enough to POA at 12 yd to drop the small metal rebounding steel plates - if you hit 'em high enough!

What can you get these days for less than $200 that still goes bang? Did I mention I had ~900 loaded .32 S&WLs left over from my prior .32 madness? ~1k+ empties, too - some 83gr DEWC, 100gr LDEWC & 115gr LRHFP .313" bullets left over, too... and I got more .32 dies...

Yeah, it's got to be my ugliest revolver... looks like it was made in a HS shop class...

What we have here is a J-Frame and other Size comparison between pistol caliber chambered revolvers. Upper Left: S&W 640 chambered in .357 Magnum, Upper Right: Ruger SP101 chambered in 9MM, Lower Left: S&W 940 chambered in 9MM, Lower Right: Taurus M380 chambered in .380 ACP

Here is one of the only K-Frame Revolver that I own, a well-used 10-5. I picked it up for 100 bucks and it's a sweet shooter.

Here's one of the Ruger SP101 chambered in 9MM. Very nice and easy to shoot.
