I am seriously leery of the whole concept. I know they have been made, I've even shot one. That's why I'm leery. Something about having shaved lead take an eighth inch off my finger as a kid made an impression. Thank goodness it was a .22, not something like being discussed here.
If I were required to use one or simply just had to have one due to some weird reason, I'd make positively sure it could be fired with both hands behind the cylinder. That means barrel as light and short as possible.
