When I got my revolver, (1972), I loaded with +P 110 hp and +P 158 half jacketed soft point. One light and high speed the next heavier for penetration.
Now I load for penetration...hoping the BG will leak on both sides.
Find what the gun likes and you can shoot well...and use that only. You'll be fine.
