I have done a search on this forum on a fellow that is a member here - Grant Cunningham - and found about 10 references saying how good his work is. But no one has said if they ever had anything done by him. Seeing as how I really like my revolver, and I don't know him or his work, is there anyone here who has had work done by Mr Cunningham that can vouch for him? If you would be more comfortable PMing me, feel free. (I am not being a wiseguy, and I mean no disrespect to Mr Cunningham. I just want the best for my gun and I want to make sure I send it to someone who is very good). Thanks.

A few months back, I sent my bride's Ruger SP-101 to Grant for some work.

I asked that he work on the action and smooth the sharp edges on the firearm.

What he sent back is absolutely remarkable. No exaggeration.

That gun has to have the smoothest action of any revolver I have ever held in my hand, and I've been at this game for more than 40 years.

A friend, who also owns an SP-101, used the term "like a hot knife through soft butter", when he tried my bride's.

He called Grant that very afternoon and placed himself on the waiting list.

Go for it.
