Paper mostly just to make me feel good. Things just dont change if I do my part in the loading. Clay pigeons to make the wife feel instantly gratified.

Tangerines if on public land as that is bio-degradeable and after all I'm just putting the lead back in the ground where it came from.

An if out with the kid's and they get uppity, empty .22 brass at 15 feet, just to give them something to shoot for. They'll spend the rest of the day trying to get just one.

Mostly paper targets. Occasionly a clay bird, because the skeet range at our club is next to the 50' pistol range. Easy to go pick up the "missed" ones.
