Has anyone tried a Rhineland Arms .45ACP Mauser or Enfield conversion? How hard was it to do?

It looks like a good starting point for a faux-DeLisle carbine.

I bought a few Enfield conversion kits and built one of them up, very easy to build, minimal tools required, headspaces like a Savage rifle, no reaming required. It look a little tweeking to get operating properly but the end result is a fun little rifle that everyone seems to love, and in the bolt action you can load it up to some insane pressures if you're so inclined. It would be great way to build up a repro Delisle suppressed carbine if you want to file the paperwork to build one. I dont get to see it much any more, a lady friend of mine commandeered the one I built :(

I have an extra kit I'm selling, posted at http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=139950 if you're interested.

I have a Rhineland conversion FAL in .45 ACP,and love it.Mine uses grease gun mags, and it's so much fun to shoot,it about bankrupts me every time I bring it out.I put a red dot scope on mine, and it it hits well out past 100 yards.
