Lusted after a 940 for years, and finally found one on Gunbroker. LNIB, did the usual trigger work, slick double action with the old-school hardchromed forged parts.
It has been trouble free, but somewhat rappy to shoot. As a PP noted, feels more like light magnums. Finally resorted to some 147 gr FMJs and a full grain less powder.
Chiappa makes a bottom-chamber 9mm revolver which is really fun to shoot, even with my standard 1100'sec reloads.
Big caveat about moonclips (yeah, I like such things.... ;) ), the 9mm ones can be expensive, unlike the gunshow .45s that were two for a buck. Some require a tool to seat them (made one for the Chiappa) and all should use a tool to remove them...bent moons/misfires soon to follow otherwise.
Buddy has a Charter Arms 9mm, and likes it a lot.
