About two weeks ago my local shop got a Richard Heinie Colt 1911 in and I've been drooling over it since the day I first saw it.
Well I decided yesterday to put some money down on it and put it on layaway. I've always wanted a Heinie tuned 1911 but I've never come across one and the few I've seen online are normally around $3k or more.
It's an early Heinie marked RH24 and it's in very good condition but at some point a previous own put an idiot mark on it, I mean seriously who is so careless as to put an idiot mark on a Richard Heinie 1911!
Anyway a few scratches doesn't really bother me all that much, I'm buying this gun to shoot and not sit in the safe and look pretty.
Unfortunately I have to fully pay off the gun before I can bring it home and photograph it proper but before I left I did snap off a few quick pictures with my cell phone. Once I finally bring this gun home I'll post a new thread with some decent pictures because a gun like this deserves quality photos.
