Looking at getting a few one piece cleaning rods. Which would be better to get, a stainless rod, coated metal rod or a carbon fiber? I figure metal would hold up longer, but might be harder on the inside of the barrel. I have also read where the carbon fiber has some breakage issues.

So, tell me what brand and what material......

I had a Dewey and hated it. The coating lasted about 2 cleaning sessions then it started peeling all off. Then I ended up actually bending the rod. Overall, I just never was happy with it. I ended up throwing it away after bending it and buying a Tipton Carbon Fiber one. This thing is amazing. It doesn't have a coating to peel off, and it can't bend. It's just awesome. The handle is soo much nicer to me than the Dewey and just fits my hand great, and it's so smooth. If I ever have to buy another cleaning rod it will be a Tipton. I would highly recommend them.

Caught a stainless rod on sale, so that is what I got. Thanks for the input guys.
