As I am figuring out I have a slightly shorter LOP to be in a true proper shooting position with proper eye relief on my scopes. For years I have just made due pulling the gun in real tight and leaning more forward into the scope to get the proper sight picture. I am wondering is it better to have my stocks cut down or would it be better to just put rails on a couple of my rifles. I wish I could go to scopes with longer eye relief. I am only about an inch to an inch and a half out depending on the rifle scope combination.
