Rifle range near Williamsburg VA.?

Any rifle ranges within reasonable driving distance of the Bush Gardens area?

The Chickahominy range was our go-to range but it is now closed spring and summer

My son and I have a nice new M1 Carbine and ammo and no where to shoot

I can meet you at my private gun club in York Co. Grafton to be precise. Lafayette Gun Club.

There is a 50yd range and a 100yd range. I am available most weekends.

Down Merimac Trail behind York Terrace through the woods down by the powerlines there's a 100 yards to a berm. Just google it

I was interested in that shooting area off Merrimac Trail, but I don't see anything about it on Google. Where is it exactly? Is there anywhere to shoot a rifle in the Williamsburg area? Chickahominy does not open till September 1st, and the only other place I can go to is A & P Arms in Virginia beach. And that is only 25 yards. I would be willing to pay to shoot on private land if that is the only option.
