Where would I go about getting a cover for my scope, with the honeycomb pattern, so it wouldn't be as reflective? (like military snipers use)

i got an aimpoint from somewhere that had one of the killflash units on it and the first thing i noticed that the light into the scope looked like it was cut by 25-30%.....those are just guesses but it is darker ....almost like adding some sort of filter over the lens....DICK

Sixteen percent loss IS noticeably dimmer, though.

...not quite as dim if you don't put it in the scope correctly...uh, like someone I know did... ;)

I'd just had one old scope failure. An inside lens had come loose in a Redfield 6X that was mounted on my L1A1 (the cheap dust cover mount must've been ever so slightly loose and finally took it's toll, I'd guess).

All of a sudden, the Leupold Tactical I was looking through on my 700 Police started to get really fuzzy.
TWO scopes in one day? NO WAY!

It was the Tenebraex piece that was loose. I 'adjusted' it into place correctly, and NO PROBLEM. :D
