Rifle Stock Refinishing CitraStrip Question.

Just a quick question. I used CitraStrip, several times, noticed the wood didn't go as light as expected but oh-well. My question is, if the citrastrip is the reason the wood is dark, do I have to find a way to remove/neutralize it before I apply any finish product coatings?

Citri Strip does need to be removed when you done. Washing the wood with paint thinner should do the trick.

Do you have any pictures of the wood?
