I'd like suggestions on a getting a scope for .22 LR. Gun is a Marlin XT-22, price range is $100, maybe $150, and I'd like something with as little parallax as possible from 25 to 100 yards.

Also, what's a midrange price for a good .22 scope?

The Mueller APV is a very popular economy scope among rimfire shooters:

Adjustable objective, so no parallax issues.

If you want something a little smaller, Weaver Rimfire Classics are nice:

That one has no adjustable objective, though. If you want that, you need to step up a notch:

The scopes mentioned above and also the Nikon rimfire scopes are nice in the price range stated.

This is what I was going to recommend. I can't speak highly enough of these Weavers. The glass clarity is amazing, especially on such a reasonably priced scope.(I'm pretty sure this is the same scope I have on my stainless marlin 60).
And, I don't believe parallax is much of an issue under a hundred yards, and adding adjustment typically jacks up the scope cost.
Most rimfire scopes are going to have parallax set at 50 yards,IIRC, so a few yards either way won't make much difference.

What are the opinions on Cabela's rimfire scopes?
Pass. If you go into their scratch and dent area in their stores, there are many many of their scopes there. I take that as a bad sign. In addition, the fact that they will not tell you who makes any of them makes me think that I would not be pleased to find out who did.

I have a couple of the Bushnell AR Rimfire AR92732, one on a Ruger Charger, one on a boat-paddle Ruger 10/22.

Here's the Charger:

My only complaint is that I had to use a high height DNZ mount, as the fill point for the inert gas has a plug that prevented using a low or medium mount.

Here's the offending fill point, and in all fairness, the optic is marketed towards ARs in .22 LR, which would use extra-high rings.

2-7x works well for me on a .22, and the AR92732 has an adjustable objective and exposed target turrets.

Happy with mine.
