Rm380

What happened to this small DA .380 is it being marketed by Remington?
Can't find any info except a few dated early reviews.

I called Cabella's and they don't have the RM380 in any of their stores or anywhere in their inventory system for that matter and the guy I spoke to said "It doesn't look like we're going to get any - any time soon."

Academy had the RM380 listed on their site for a while too. They took it off their site which angered me because I had posted questions concerning the magazines.

I see Cabelas is still using a pic of an early North Carolina gun. Remington says the RM380 will be made in Huntsville Alabama.

Maybe they'll get an RM380 to sell by the time the new store opens in Richmond. I can't wait, I've never been to a Cabelas store, but I they send me hardback catalogs.

Preppers is the first I've seen but I'm sure there will be more shops with them for sale.

Cabela's is almost always $30-60 higher than other stores. I use the local Cabela's to check out new stuff when it comes out and of course check out the gun library, but will happily order from Buds or GAG.

Occasionally there will be a steal of a deal on a used gun in the library though..

Just yesterday I got an email from Impact Guns about the RM380. You can place one on back-order. Hope they redeem themselves.

I haven't seen anything about them making a 9mm.

According to Eric Rohrbaugh, the RM380 will be made soon...

"I have serial numbers 098, 099. 100 coming. I spoke with my personal Remington contact and they won't be manufactured before January 2016."

P.S. - If Cabela's doesn't hurry up and open here I'm going to spend all my money at the L.L. Bean store that opens this weekend.
