1) No, I'm not associated with RMR in any way.
2) No, I'm not Larry
3) My only interest here is getting the word out about 1) cool bullets & 2) Houston.

Rocky Mountain Reloading is making a special run of 124gr 9mm bullets stamped with the MHI smiley face logo. Larry's condition for the use of his logo is that 10% of the sales goes to the Houston Food Bank.

I would be more impressed if they hadn’t raised their prices to cover their “donation”.

9mm 124gr RMR FMJ Flat Nose *MatchWinner*
$82/1000
$49/500
$160/2000
$312/4000

9mm 124gr FMJ RMR Flat Nose *MHI Hurricane Relief”
***10% of sales go to Houston Food Bank***
$92/1000
$52/500
$175/2000
#335/4000

You can do the math. Thanks, but no thanks.

They raised the price because Larry has to charge for the licensed use of his intellectual property, and it does cost money to create the dies and stamp the logo. Then they turn around and donate that money. So yes, you are paying slightly more than you would for the unstamped bullets. No, they aren't making any money off of that.
