Hi. Please post if you have an RIA 1911 and whether you like it or not and why. Thanks.

S'funny ... when I bought my RIA ($290) one of my reasons was that if it dropped in the creek while I was traipsing around the farm, it being a not-great-looking/shooting cheapo, it would not be the catastrophe that dropping one of my nice pistols (like my real 1911A1) would be ... but it turned out to be both a fine-shooter and a fine-looker, so only the value/cost-aspect remains of that initial Plan. Not a pretty gun but then that's not real high on my list for shooters.
I have a RIA 1911 GI FS in .45. I really like it as it shoots really nice.
Might have been the RIA Match. That was my first Rock. Their Cadillac. Hand fit and all that good stuff.Had a five inch with the better sights, funneled mag well, burr hammer and adjustable trigger but don't know what it was called. Do know that with most of my loads it equalled or beat my Kimber Pro Carry. Fed everything including my 255 grain Keith buffalo busters.
A buddy wanted it more than I needed it, so.....
