Has anyone here been to Rogers Shooting school? any aar's or reviews of the course. please tell me what you think/ thought. i personally am interested in the beginner handgun course, however i would love to hear about any courses that you may have taken from him.. it seems like a squared away school, but i would like to hear what any of my fellow highroaders think about it. is it worth the money and time to go to a course? as well if you could also let me know what other training you have done, and how Rogers school compares to others. it would be much appreciated.

I've taken the Intermediate/Advanced twice, most recently Nov '07. My review from the first class is posted here.
I can't speak as to his Basic class, but his Int/Adv class is top notch.

Possum- after having an idea of your training background from your AARs you'd be fine in the intermediate/advanced class. I talked to Bill briefly via email & the impression I got was that if you have some formal higher-level (beyond basic NRA/Cop/Mil) training the I/A course will be for you. Yeager did a podcast on his experience there a month or two ago. Claude, one of the instructors posts regularly over on TPI & has put up some observations of some of the classes. You can always shoot Bill an email with your training history & see what he says.

The Rogers Shooting School is on my list for next year as long as life doesn't change so dramatically that I can't make it.

thanks everyone. thanks for the links too.
yammymonkey,
yeah i have wanted to hear yeagers review on podcast but for some reason i can't seem to get it to down load.. thanks for the info, i woudl love to take his intermediate/ advanced course with the shotgun portion, it is hard to find shotgun training and why not knock it out in one shot.

Tim,
I was finally able to read through your great aar on the link you posted. great aar and very informative. i wish everyone wrote aars for courses, and i wish they were all that good. thanks so much again, and after reading your aar i now know that i want to get into a class of his as soon as i am able. thanks.
