I know parts for the Euroarms Rogers and Spencer are next to impossible to find but I broke my hand spring this morning and I'm dead in the water without a replacement. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just curious, were you shooting when you broke your hand, or just cycling the gun ? I have a R&S too, am paying close attention to this thread.

Today was my first go with it. I shot around 50 flawless and accurate rounds without a hiccup. I was cleaning it and literally just pushed on the tip of the hand and it didn’t return. I took the gun apart and the spring just fell off.

Mr.white smoke...i can fix it for you if your willing to ship it to me. I tune black powder revolvers and i put in a round wire spring to replace the flat spring. I call it a "forever hand", i have yet to have one break but if the wire ever does break it is easily replaced. Heres a pic of what it looks like...

I have done thr bobby pin thing and it works just fine...but i prefer to have a wire spring that bends easier and isnt so "brittle" like the stamped flat steel spring the OEM uses. Lemme know sir. Oh and the wire is not left straight...its bent into a curve to the tension that you want.

He replaces hand, trigger and bolt springs with coiled springs on Colts and Remingtons. You’d have to inquire about the R&S however as I haven’t had mine tuned by him nor inquired of such.
I do have 4 Colts with such improvements so can vouch for the work if not the turn around time. .

Thanks Outlaw Kid . I will try the bobby pin type and if that doesn't work out I just may give you a shout.

"Shakin the bushes boss . . . shakin the bushes". Lol! (Should be good by summer)

As far as the R&S hand . . . I would do what I do on pocket guns. It's fairly close to what the Kid does.

I went ahead and did the bobby pin fix for now/. If it doesn't hold up, I'll try another avenue. Thanks to all who replied.
