Ha! My most expensive handgun is under $800. My most expensive rifle is worth $700 on a good day. I'm hardly a gun snob at all, and there was no under handed insult intended at all. If you care to know my most commonly recommended gun for new shooters is the Bulgarian Makarov. And as a 3 gunner my favorite thing in the world is beating other guys using way nicer guns.
I just have a real problem with every single thread about any weapon over a certain amount of money. There always seems to be a slew of posters who come and say something about there being no way that they could spend that kind of money on that gun when they could get a Kel-Tec/Ruger/whatever.
I'm just trying to point out the fact that there is a huge market of gun owners who don't mind dropping that kind of cash on something that they perceive to be worth it. I know a guy who owns a shotgun worth more than my house. Good for him.
As for whether the Rohrbaugh is worth it or not, it is just conjecture at this point. However if it lives up to its potential then it will beat the pants off the Kel-Tec (not much bigger than a P-3AT, bigger round, much nicer gun) and it is a whole heck of a lot skinnier than a Glock, and smaller than a Kahr.
As for me being underhanded or sneaking in insults, nope, if I insult somebody they are going to know it. Stelth and sarcasm are not my strong points.
