I am quite excited, and maybe a little nervous too, as I have finally acquired everything I know of, to start reloading.

I have a Hornady LnL AP, Lee dies, powder cop, manuals, scales....etc. Been reading the manuals, and all the info everyone has been sharing here. Planning on reloading for my first time, on Saturday. (Now that football is done.) I'm a little nervous about doing something dangerously wrong, but I used to reload shotgun shells, so sort of familiar with the operation.

Anyone willing to share their favorite 'recipe' for loading 9mm 115 gr FMJ, with Ramshot Sillhouette and WSP primers?

I appreciate all the knowledge you all share on here, and enjoy reading questions about all loads, not just the 9mm. I will be gathering the dies for .223 soon, to keep the AR fed and happy.

Thanks in advance for any info you can share.

Do you have a reloading manual? If not, get one or more ASAP. It is always better to check and load from well known sources rather than take the data from the web.

I have the "Lyman 49th Edition", and the "Reloading Guide for Pistols". I have another coming tomorrow, Lee Precision Reloading Handbook.....not positive if that is the exact title.

As a fellow 9mm new reloader I would replace the powder cop with an RCBS lockout die. The PC sounds good in theory, but running a progressive and handling cases, handling bullets, watching powder levels and pulling the lever I found that looking at the PC was one thing too many. I also added a case feeder, but I'm loading 3000+ cartridges/month for my wife and myself.

When you start reloading pull the barrel out of your 9mm so you can do plunk tests on all your low rate initial production.
