Rossi 35 and Taurus 85

So is there any difference between the current model Rossi 35 and the Taurus 85 snubbies (the steel model 85, not the polymer or aluminum model 85s). Other than the different grips are all the parts the same on these two? The price is about the same, so I am curious if there is any actual difference other than the stock grip.

No, not the same. The Russi uses a hammer mounted firing pin and a hammer block safety like Smith and Wessons, a bit different inside. The Taurus uses a floating frame mounted firing pin and a transfer bar like Rugers.
