Yesterday I did something I normally don't do. I bought a lightweight snubbie. I bought the Taurus Model 85. It was just so inexpensive I could not resist. I shot it today and the first thing I noticed was the amount of sharp snap to it. My other snubbie is a Chief's Special and the difference it amazing. I like the Taurus though and I plan on keeping it. Anyways, for those of you who have a Taurus Model 85 what is your favorite target load? I have some Hornady 125gr. HP's and some Remington 125gr. HP's to load up so I am just curious.

Kinda felt like someone slapped you in the hand with a 4lb plastic hammer didn;t it? I bought the 605 becasue of the lightweight hndgun= hammer syndrome.

Legalities: read a reloading manual... Now that's out the way... I use 158gr Hornady HP XTP pushed by 4.5gr Alliant Bullseye. At dusk, she'll belch fire about 4 feet.

Grats on your new gun. Cheaper than dirt is selling CT grips for them for $150. If you want a grip that costs more than half of the gun that is ;)

I was going to get a 605, but now that Saigas are legal in CA, I have put it off for a later time.

185gr. Hornady XTP HP's out of a Taurus Model 85?!?!:what: :what: :what: Dang, how does your wrist feel after about 15 rounds of those things?
