Rossi R 98

Anyone have any experience with the Rossi R 98 22lr with 4" barrel?
Buds review page for this gun is very good.
Has adj. rear sight and fiber optic front.
Please, if you don't know about this gun, don't post and rip Rossi, thanks.

I have had a 4" Rossi R98 since last Xmas. It's a very nice little revolver. It shoots better and has a better DA trigger pull than my other 22 revolvers (H&R 922 and NEF R92). The fit and finish are good...not Colt or S&W good...but more than acceptable for a $300 revolver. Accuracy is also very good. I have no problem hitting tin cans at 25 yards with CCI SV ammo.

The only downside is that the revolver grip is rather small. I have large hands and I can only get two full fingers on the grip, leaving my pinky to curl under it. Conversely, my wife loves the small grip.

Not sure of the frame of the new revolver. I put a Pachmayr Compac on my old Rossi 511.
