rossi/taurus 972 revolver

I recently purchased a Taurus 97206 stainless revolver. the store I bought it from said it was a Rossi but it says Taurus on it. I know about Taurus buying Rossi but my question is. When I look online I see all the Rossi 972s have 357 magnum written on the side of the barrel but the one I have have 357Mag written on the bottom of the barrel. Does anyone know why. thank you
