Rossi Wizard Barrels

Has anybody tried to fit one on a youth model? Specifically I am wondering about a "Matched Pair" .22/.410 and a youth .223 barrel. I came across these while I was shopping for an adjustable aftermarket stock (on a tangent, while fine for .22/.410, the factory stock may be a little weak for more powerful loads). I called the Rossi customer service and was told that each barrel is matched to a receiver for ATF recording purposes and, as such, barrel swaps were not possible. As it appeared to me the representative was more concerned about the legality of the proposition I didn't press the technical aspects of my question. Anybody have experience here they'd like to share?

I don't have experience but its my understanding that it doesn't work or at least isn't a plug-n-play. Intentionally not the same as to separate it from the Matched Pair and Trifecta line.

Whether its 'possible' or not, I don't know.
