Round nose vs Spire point in 25.06

What are the advantages or disadvantages of round nose bullets in 25.06? I am planning to load 120 g hunting bullets. Most of shots will be 150 yds or less in LA.

I would appreciate any experience you may have with round nose bullets. I also load 35 Whelen and 7mm08.

The spire point will have better ballistics but at 150 yards or less they won't matter very much. Personally I would just stay with the spitzer.
