Hi, I’m new to this thread and very happy to be here. I’ve been recently loading .40 s&w with berrys 155gn flat point I bought years ago. I’ve been loading it at 5.2 grains of 700x with the c.o.l at 1.125. My question is, recently I ran out of flat nose 155 grain and bought round nose 155 grain hollow base because it was all I could find. The problem is, I can’t find load data for a round nosed.40. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to use up the 700x but other powders would be ok if I can get data. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Before I started casting, I loaded and shot gobs of Berry's 155 HBRN in 40S&W. Comparing my load database with Hodgdon's site, just about all of my best loads are .1 to .2 tenths below the max load for Berry's 155 FP. The OAL is the same, 1.125" so your 700x load is perfectly safe unless you need to load shorter for some reason.
