I was thinking of ordering me a couple of pairs of these bt I have one question.
How do the sizes on these run? I ask this because depending on the cut and fit i can wear any size wasit from a 38 to a 44. I can imagine that the length will be the same at 34 but i am not sure there either.
My normal levi size is a 42 but that is big on me. I just get them that way so i can carry IWB.
Using this as a reference, what size should i order? I wont be wearing IWB so that isnt an issue and i DO like my pants a little roomy, especially in the legs.

Well, I wear 44 Dockers and they are really too snug for me to IWB. With the 44 RRs, no problem. Plenty of room. Keep in mind that they have elastic on each side of the waist.

FWIW, these are by far my favorite pants of all time.

I bought mine 1" bigger than I normally do in dungarees. They have an elastic waste, and mine fit great leaving the inch for IWB [ whether a knife or gun ].

I'm not impressed with their "wear" factor and have ruined two pair in short order carrying a gun and a few knives in the pockets. They replaced them free of charge but they are not as heavy duty as I had thought.

Truth to be told i dont think that wear wil be an issue as i am buying these more for the fact that i like the way they look than if I would be carrying half of Cox army in my pockets.;)
All i really carry every day is

Full Size 1911 in Belt Slide Scabbard
Case Canoe pocket Knife
Keys
Wallet
Phone
Nextel Radio

I have several pairs of the RR 5.11 pants. I have found them to run on the large side, both waist and length.

All RR stuff must be sized by gorillas :p

I wear the 5.12 pants. Why? Becuase they're .01 more tactical.

As comparison, I wear 34/30 Columbia "rugged chino" pants. The 5.11 34/30's are a little loose around the waist, but fine with a belt. I find their "rise" a little too long.
