I'm thinking of getting a Royal Robbins vest. Can anyone tell me if the arm holes are small enough so that a Commander sized .45 in a shoulder holster won't show?

Why get a shoulder holster? The vest has a slot on either side designed so a holster can be attached via velcro.

I think it will depend on how high up you set the holster. Also, keep in mind that wearing the RR vest is the same as a big sign telling any leo that you're carrying.

No problem w/LEOs because:
A - I have a CCW.
B - Most of the LEOs I have spoken with in my neck of the PRK feel that it's stupid to drive a cab and NOT be armed.

I use a Galco Miami Classic on occasion with my RR 5.11 vest. The armholes are deliberately cut so shoulder holster straps won't show.

Excellent. I have a shooting buddy who has one of the vests coming, and a Jackass Rig for his 45 from Galco. He'll be pleased.

I'm getting a 511 vest too. :) Really looking forward to getting it.
