Rock River Arms in 308 caliber and 18" barrel: Tested 3 different rounds in it and none function beyond 5 rounds using the factory mags
and even ordered 2 more, just to try and see if they would work, but no go.
We have ordered Magpul to see if they work better, it has worked on other rifles.
Does anyone else have this problem with RRA in 308 or any other calibers, even other mfg., and how did you fix it?
Extra question: Why are AR10's so borderline on function when you first get them? We have had several and
they seem to be 1 out of every 2 have the jam problem. The only ones that we ever got here which always
run well are the Remington AR10 in upper calibers, but good luck finding a new one. They were made by Panther Arms, best I can remember.
It is my son's rifle, and he is thinking about sending it back, so I won't try any reloads in it. Also reloading for an AR10 can work you
to death.
