Noobie AR question - Please help!!
I'm looking into buying a RRA AR and want to buy one that uses a mid-length gas system.
Which Rock River Arms models use the mid-length gas systems??
Thanks in advance!

Elite CAR A4
Elite CAR UTE2
Mid-Length A2 / A4

I think the Pro-Series TASC has one too. They also have midlengths in other calibers.

RRA's are great rifles, but just remember, if you are planning on ordering one from them(opposed to buying one at a shop) be prepared to not see your rifle for awhile.

Check over at AR15.com - in the Equipment Exchange/For Sale forum for a guy named Pete from LegalTransfers. he is a RRA dealer and can probably get you what you want without the lead time buying direct from RRA.

I lucked out and found an Elite CAR A4 locally for a decent price. Only mid-length I found in the local shops so it went home with me.

Thats what I've read. I'm going to a big gun show tomorrow and I'm hoping to find one there. I've decided on an Elite CAR A4. If I don't find one there, I'll order one through my gun range. I don't mind waiting, I've got a few other guns to play with while I wait.

IME, the lowers are the LIMFAC on the shipment times. So I got a Stag stripped lower - they were readily available - and a RRA lower parts kit. The RRA upper took a month to arrive. In 1 month's time, I had a RRA Varmint A4 with a Stag stamp on the receiver.
