Hello all, this is my first post to the forum.
I recently purchased a Ruger 10/22 and there seems to be a pain issue on the receiver.
I have shot it twice. After shooting it I thoroughly clean it as I usually shoot about 500 or so rounds.
The pain on the receiver is peeling off and the ejector port(lack of a better term) paint is gone. I know that people are complaining that the paint is flaking off the inside of the receiver(big deal), and that is of zero consequence.
I clean the receiver and bolt with Hoppe's #9 and spray it off with Break Free Powder Blast. Is this a problem others are having?
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
