Ruger 10/22 & Remington 597 Compatible???

I have a Remington 597 and am looking to get a wooden stock for it. I was just wondering if a 10/22 stock is compatible with the Remington 597? I really don't think it is but I was just throwing it out there.

Also, does anyone know where I can get a traditional wooden stock for the 597 finished or unfinished?

Try Boyd's for wood rifle stocks. I'm not positive but a 10/22 stock probably wont fit a 597.

No the 10/22 will not fit.
Might try calling Remington. Other than that, I dnt know of anyone that makes an after market wooden stock for the 597.
