Ruger 10/22 sights..

I have an XS Sight Systems ghost ring sight assembly on my 10/22. It's elevation and windage adjustable. The rear sight (ghost ring assembly) is small and mounts to the two rearmost screw receptacles in the receiver. The front sight is a 0.080" blade, which I really like. It's dead nuts accurate at 100 yards with CCI 36gr MiniMag HP. (The rear sight can also be replaced with a threaded unit that accept Williams peep sights.)

The Williams "Ace in the Hole" seems like a nice set up - a peep sight integrated with a Picatinny mount:

I may look into the tech sights later but am going to run the ruger sights until our squirrel season closes in February for sure.
Ain't nothing wrong with your stock sights - they're plenty accurate. I'd still have the stock sights on my 10/22 but I wanted to use it as an inexpensive "understudy" rifle to my AR-15 for marksmanship training out to 100 yards, and the XS sights gave me this capability. Otherwise I'd have no need for an aperture sight on it.

The front sight is in there extremely tight. I had mine fully supported but I hat to hit it so hard, steel punch and steel hammer that I canted the barrel a little bit in the receiver. Had to loosen up the set screws and straighten it back out. It finally gave way. I did so in order to put Tech Sights on it. The factory sights are not very good. That teeny weeny front bead is just too small for my eyesight.

They can be in those dovetails very tightly.
