Ruger 10/22 stock conversion?

Anyone ever converted a Ruger 10/22 stock for Mini 14 use? I've never seen them side-by-side... the nice Mini 14 folding stocks (wooden, side folders- like factory original) are outrageously expensive (almost as much as the weapon itself!), while nice 10/22 folders are reasonable. Just curious to see if anyone ever looked into this...

I suspect you'll find it won't work. The Mini-14 action is physically bigger than the 10/22.
"...almost as much as the weapon itself..." Yep. Lot of money for an over priced, inaccurate rifle.
