I don't mean to toot my own horn, and I know things no great accomplishment at all to 99% of you guys, but it is for me.
I volunteered to clean my mother-in-law's 10/22 (2013 manufacture.) I got it home, and started the take down. I got the trigger group out, and for some reason I decided to take it entirely apartpiece by piece just to see if I could reassemble it myself, with no diagram. Well, it took the better part of an hour, but I got the thing back together and functioning properly.
Like I said, not a big accomplishment, but I had to share with someone since the wife would be about as interested as I would be in her telling me about an episode "Heart of Dixie."
I now also have a better understanding of just how exactly a modern trigger works.
